Under The Blade I Die was Coldblood's debut album released in 2007 marks the entry of this Brazillian death metal fury into the scene officially. After releasing 3 demos, Coldblood couldn't wait any longer but to carry on and continue spreading their plague in the form of the most extreme music ever existed.

Mind-piercing and a blow straight to the head, this album has everything from extreme aggressions from the 80's and 90's death metal vibe to their brand of soul torturing extreme approach in which a great album was born into the death metal scene of Brazil and the world. The production wasn't at its best but that doesn't affect the entire outcome of this sick masterpiece, with all the madness put together side by side. Alan Silva handled the vocals parts well and managed to portray the brutality and intensity of Coldblood in every aspect possible. And not to forget his guitar works are pure top notch raw death metal riffs and composition mixed with the thick bass lines of Vitor Esteves and accompanied by Marcus Coutinho's drumming it was an unforgettable ugly and devastating combination ever. With a little bit of thrash elements here and there, Coldblood delivered their brand of death metal to the core without mercy.

Raw and dirty as it should be, this album is full of aggression and anguish towards Christianity, a common theme for extreme metal bands but in the veins of pure, ugly and destructive intentions . Clocking at 37:47 of its entirety, Under The Blade I Die is an album that needs to be noticed and not to be missed by any death metal fans period. Strictly for fans of old death metal and for those who are still searching a perfect benchmark for South American death metal. Praise Coldblood and praise evil!
